Architecture dilemma between Investment and life qualities by Mohamed Mahfouz

Architecture has developed through the ages, specially after the world war-2 when we discovered as Urban communities that war was no longer useful, from that point human started a new ear of being a bit more civilized than before !

flashing our memory back to the architecture as a movie, shows us how the human urban development has formed from horizontal expansion to vertical, as a trial to maximize profits instead of the early urban Utopian cities that imagined heaven far from our life city centers where we have less pollution and more greens !

in fact this is how i imagine Newyork in 20 years ! its not gonna be bad ! but not as bright, life within 20 years will not change that much but humans will keep trying to overcome the existing feeling of horizontal expansion ( which is a must sooner or later ), more taller, agile, glossy tower with connections, bridges and some of that, a life that will expand more and more vertically, to respond to our higher density withing the congested city,

on the other hand humanity will keep using our old infrastructure ! because come on nothing changed yet ! but less light, less attention to the those old streets, less clean and unfinished works everywhere, A real contrast of old-new life forms.

finally this vision is not real, is not positive and yet to know its just a theory, but due to our life today am kind of skeptical about its bright future, hope am not too dark, and thanks guys, let me know what you think, and thanks a lot for reading some of “the poring architecture” theories ! :grinning:

been of for a while but, here is the new update still working on that view, setting up things and filling the gaps, the attraction is yet to be determined but mainly the alley between those large buildings takes us to a different scale !

Hello Muhammed,

I can see one great and balanced composition right here. Keep on with the great work.

You can try different options for the lighting of the scene. In that way you will be able to test some other volume studies and to choose the best one (if you have not done this yet). Also, try to put a little bit more greenery in the background to separate the project site and the background buildings. I think that this will work well for this image.

Have a great and successfull week!

Cheers,

Stefan
